CSUCC Faculty Attends PQA Planning Workshop

Select faculty members from Caraga State University Cabadbaran City (CSUCC) attended PQA Planning Workshop at Isabela State University, Main Campus last March 20-24, 2022. The training will help CSU plan and prepare for the application for the Philippine Quality Award (PQA). PQA is the application for the highest level of recognition for exemplary organizational performance. This award is given by no less than the President of the Philippines in an appropriate ceremony usually held at the Malacanang Palace. It is an integrated approach for performance management that sets the standard of excellence to help Philippine organizations achieve world-class performance.

The planning workshop was attended by the following personnel of Caraga State University namely: VP for Administration and Finance, VP for Academic Affairs, Unit Heads, QuAMS Director, Planning Officer III, OVAF staff and selected faculty of the main campus and Cabadbaran City Campus.

CSUCC delegation was spearheaded by the CSUCC Chancellor, Dr. Marilyn B. Castillo. Together with the chancellor were Prof. Alma Ligaya A. Bermudez, Prof. Alvin M. Sevilla, Prof. Frank Aiken O. Alan and Prof. Ritchifildjay L. Mariscal.

Mr. Juan Aquino, an Isabela State University consultant, was the principal facilitator of the event. The session focused on a few key themes based on the develop assessment processes and criteria for SUC. CSUCC is preparing for the highest accolade granted to the organization as it continues to serve its clientele with excellence and world-class performance. In addition, the techniques presented by the speaker throughout the event will assist CSU in preparing the PQA application.
