GOAL
To produce competent and ethical professionals capable of making a positive contribution to the profession and to the society.
OBJECTIVES
The College of Business and Accountancy aims to:
- Produce skilled manpower, self- reliant entrepreneur, competitive technocrats and professionals through quality instruction, research, production and extension;
- Deliver quality business-based instruction through strong faculty development program and upgraded physical laboratory facilities;
Support business industries in the entire region or in Mindanao to gain profit through providing quality services that needed to the operation; - Encourage students to engage business as a great opportunity to earn income and to become business proprietor;
- Be the best instrument for a better employment of the Caraganon.
Bachelor of Science in Accountancy
Program Educational Objectives (PEO)
- To produce Certified Public Accountants possessing the competence, integrity and objectivity required of the profession whether engaged in public accountancy or employed in private business industries, government or educational institutions;
- To produce professionals that will set up and manage a business;
- To produce professionals that will assume managerial positions in the field of business development, corporate planning and other related positions in the corporate or public organizations and non-government organization;
- To produce professionals that will pursue graduate studies in business and management.
Program Outcomes
The graduates have the ability to:
- Resolve business issues and problems, with a global and strategic perspective using knowledge and technical proficiency in the areas of financial accounting and reporting, cost accounting and management accounting and control, taxation and accounting information systems.
- Conduct accountancy research through independent studies of relevant literature and appropriate use of accounting theory and methodologies.
- Employ technology as a business tool in capturing financial and non-financial information, generating reports and making decisions.
- Apply knowledge and skills that will successfully respond to various types of assessments (including professional licensure and certifications).
- Confidently maintain a commitment to good corporate citizenship, social responsibility and ethical practice in performing functions as an accountant.

The graduates have the ability to:
- Demonstrate corporate citizenship and social responsibility.
- Perform the basic functions of management such as planning, organizing, staffing, directing, leading and controlling.
- Apply information and communication technology (ICT) effectively and efficiently.
- Work effectively with other stakeholders and manage conflict in the workplace.
- Select the proper decision tools to critically, analytically and creatively solve problems and drive results.
- Analyze the busines environment for strategic direction.
- Prepare operational plans.
- Innovate business ideas based on emerging industry.
- Manage a strategic business unit for economic sustainability.
