CSUan athletes finished in 7th place as they competed in the 2023 Mindanao Association of State Tertiary Schools, Inc. (MASTS) held in Arakan, Cotabato.
As of the final medal tally, they were able to bring home 27 gold medals, 58 silver medals, and
46 bronze medals. The CSUans ranked below the University of Southern Mindanao
(1st), North Eastern Mindanao State University (2nd), Central Mindanao
University (3rd), University of Science and Technology of Southern Philippines
– CDO (4th), Zamboanga Peninsula State University (5th), and Jose Rizal
Memorial State University (6th).
Additionally,
the Arnis, Chess, Badminton, 3×3 Basketball Men and Women’s Volleyball teams
were able to advance in the upcoming State Colleges and Universities Athletics
Association (SCUAA) under the Caraga delegation.
