Caraga State University – Cabadbaran City Campus (CSUCC) celebrated its 69th Foundation Day last July 3, 2023, honoring decades of service to the community. The momentous occasion brought together the esteemed faculty and dedicated staff of CSUCC, showcasing their unwavering commitment to shaping the minds of tomorrow.
The festive event commenced with a wreath-laying ceremony held at the university’s new Academic Building. The scheduled motorcade still went on flaunting the vibrant colors of the various cars and motorcycles of the faculty and staff who joined the parade despite the unfavorable weather. A mass also took place inside the campus blessing the event, and a way of thanking the God Almighty for the years of blessing to the institution.
After the preliminaries, Dr. Rolyn C. Daguil, the university president, delivered an inspiring speech, highlighting the remarkable growth and achievements of CSUCC since its establishment in 1954. He expressed gratitude to the faculty and staff for their relentless dedication, which has propelled the university to great heights.
The celebration, with a retro theme, even featured performances from various talented individuals and groups within the university. Music, dance, and theater performances delighted the audience, showcasing the artistic talents of campus.
In the afternoon, the CSUCC community continued to bask in the accomplishments and milestones through a series of games. The 69th Foundation Day of Caraga State University served as a testament to the unwavering dedication, passion, and commitment of its esteemed faculty and staff, who continue to shape and transform lives through education. As it embarks on its 70th year, the university looks forward to embracing new challenges and creating a lasting impact in the lives of its students and the communities it serves.
