This acknowledgment affirms CSUCC and CEITโ€™s enduring dedication to educational and community advancement. As we continue to bridge innovation and service, we remain committed to empowering learners and strengthening institutional partnerships across the region.

CEPRIC, IIEE, and DepEd Agusan del Norte Collaboration for Electrical Safety in Schools

The CSUCC Energy and Power Research and Innovation Center (CEPRIC), with the support of the Institute of Integrated Electrical Engineers (IIEE) Butuanโ€“Agusan del Norte Chapter and the College of Engineering and Information Technology (CEIT) with the Department of Electrical Engineering (DEE), devised projects that aims to promote a culture of safety and energy efficiency in public schools across Agusan del Norte.

In a strategic coordination meeting held at the DepEd Division Office, they focused on two major extension initiatives. First, Electrical Safety Training and Seminars for school heads, teachers, and maintenance personnel to ensure safe practices and compliance with standards. Second, Year-Round Maintenance and Safety Awareness Program aligned with Brigada Eskwela, aimed at sustaining the upkeep of electrical systems in classrooms and key facilities.

These initiatives build on the findings from Project Tun-EEโ€™s inspections across all 10 districts, addressing recurring electrical concerns and promoting a culture of safety and energy efficiency. DepEd officials expressed full support, recognizing the long-term impact of these efforts in creating safer learning environments for students and staff.

Other Partnership Highlights of CSUCC with DepEd Agusan del Norte

Through the BUSWAK initiative (Building Up Systems, Wiring, Automation, and Knowledge) with the DepEd Magallanes District and the Municipality of Magallanes, CSUCC via CEIT, delivers practical systems support, light automation, and hands-on knowledge sharing to improve day-to-day school operations.  Complementing BUSWAKโ€™s district-level work, a tri-party collaboration with the DepEd Cabadbaran City Division and Calamba National High School (CNHS) advances teacher professional development and school improvement, focusing on evidence-based instruction, digital literacy, and a culture of continuous learning.

Together, these efforts align higher-education expertise with the needs of basic education, streamlining processes, transferring technology, and upskilling personnel for lasting impact across the division.
