The CSUCC Energy and Power Research and Innovation Center Chief, Engr. Erickson A. Tacda and his team won the Grand Champion and Best Pitcher awards at the New Energy Nexus Philippines – Ready, Spark, Charge: Hacking the Future of Energy 2024 competition, held from November 14–16, 2024, at Miriam College, Quezon City.
The competition, focused on energy and climate entrepreneurship, aims to inspire and accelerate ventures addressing energy challenges. Engr. Tacda and his team’s collaborative efforts landed them the top prize, while Engr. Tacda’s pitching skills earned him the Best Pitcher Award.
