The College of Industrial Technology and Teacher Education (CITTE) at Caraga State University Cabadbaran City (CSUCC) held a significant Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) Signing Ceremony for the Skills Training and Enhancement Program (STEP) aimed at enhancing Human Capital Development (HuCaD) in barangay Kauswagan, Cabadbaran City, on October 11, 2024.
The event was graced by Dr. Jeffrey T. Dellosa, Vice President for Research, Development, Innovation, and Extension at Caraga State University, who delivered an inspiring message on behalf of the university. Representing the barangay, Hon. Elsita J. Fugoso, the Barangay Captain of Kauswagan, responded to Dr. Dellosa’s remarks, emphasizing the importance of community collaboration in skill development.
The MOA signing was facilitated by the dedicated faculty of CITTE, led by Dr. Ramil B. Arante, the college dean. Dr. Arante introduced the undertaking, highlighting its potential to empower local communities through enhanced skills training.
The ceremony commenced with a welcoming address by Ms. Charisse D. Galusan, the Chief for Technology Transfer and Licensing Office (TTLO) and Innovation and Technology Support Office (ITSO), who represented Dr. Nathalie Daminar, Division Chief for RDIE. Her address set a positive tone for the collaboration, focusing on the program’s goals to uplift human capital in the region.
