The College of Tourism and Hospitality Management (CTHM) of Caraga State University – Cabadbaran Campus was declared overall champion during the 13th Hospitality and Tourism Management Summit Skills Competition held at Amontay Beach Resort, Nasipit, Agusan Del Norte on November 24,2023.
The said event was participated by 17 different tertiary schools in Caraga Region. For the “Tour Package”, Sevilla Adrea Jean got the Gold award with Ms. Mary Jane Ruiz-Betco and Mr. Alvin L. Orcullo as coaches. Semblante, Chammy Nicole bagged the Gold award in “Tour Brochure” with Ms. Queenchy S. Micabalo as coach. In Bed Setting (Traditional Set-Up), Rivera, Mark Jan brought home the Silver award with Prof. Gigi A. Minoza as coach. For the Flower Centerpiece, Crosrojas, Cerena Jean and Dellola, Nekko bagged the Silver award with Ms. Jeharah Estrada as coach. For Table Napkin Folding, Macalos, Maria landed as Bronze awardee with Prof. Maria Jovita C. Serrano and Ms. Rhea Joy Gusano as coaches. In the Flairtandem, Sugino, Rufierth and Flores, Jasper bagged the Silver award together with their coaches Ms. Mae Karren Crujedo and Prof. Alecris Gregorio. In Coffee Brewing (Siphon Method), Butron, Marla declared as a silver awardee with Mr. Ronel C. Pagulong as coach. In the Dance Competition, CSUCC bagged the Gold award.
