Caraga State University Cabadbaran Campus joins this year’s Gawad Kalinga’s Facilitators’ Training Program at Father Saturnino Urios University, CBE Function Hall last November 22, 2023. The activity was brought by the Gawad Kalinga Builders Institute, in partnership with GK Ateneo, to equip participants for the effective implementation of the GK Kapitbahayan Capability Building 1.2.
CSU Cabadbaran Campus was represented by the CSUCC-NSTP Facilitators; Juanito “Kuya” V. Cellion Jr., Dessa May “Ate Dessa” M. Beray, Lee Ann “Ate Lee” Abucay, and Charisse “Ate Chang” D. Galusan. They all demonstrated the institution’s dedication and enthusiasm as volunteers that will help make a significant impact in this new role towards nation building.
The activity was also participated by dedicated volunteer leaders from Mindanao areas including Surigao Del Sur, Surigao Del Norte, Agusan Del Sur, Agusan Del Norte, Davao Oriental, and the Province of Dinagat Island that is united to enrich every volunteers’ skill sets.
Furthermore, the GK volunteers gain deeper insights from the training, which acts as a beacon of light, enabling them to better the communities they fervently serve. 𝐑𝐨𝐝𝐚𝐬 for the continued support.
