CSUCC strikes gold

A province-wide business pitching competition, known as “TuoNegosyo IDEAS” (Imagine, Dare, Execute to Achieve Success), took place on October 13, 2023, at the Grand Palace Hotel & Restaurant, located at Capitol Drive Corner Imadejas, Butuan City. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students at Caraga State University – Cabadaran Campus, where they showcased their remarkable skills and untapped potentials.

 As CSUCC students participated in this event, demonstrating their skills and unwavering passion, they secured both the first and second prizes in this prestigious competition.

 The first-place award was claimed by TEAM MUDDIE, comprised of four talented students: Mr. Earl Villanueva, Ms. Angela Bustillo, Mr. JoaQuin Nozal Bughao Jr., and Mr. Jayve C. Huiso. Following closely behind, the second-place honor was secured by TEAM BAGGETS, featuring the outstanding efforts of Ms. Jessamae Rante, Ms. Angelica Dela Torre Ayento, Ms. Pretty Wahine Santillan, Mr. Richard Tarol, and Mr. Prince Marc Andre Peralta together with their coach  Ms. Mae Karen C. Crujedo.

 The said competition’s goal is to strengthen the entrepreneurial mindset, drive and skills of the youth sector in the province, as TuoNegosyo, a three-month-long boot camp for existing and aspiring youth entrepreneur working to create sustainable business that challenge the norms -now in its fourth year.
