Caraga State University Cabadbaran City (CSUCC) students won awards during the Mindanao Association of State Tertiary Schools (MASTS) Socio Cultural Festival held in Davao Oriental State University, Mati City, Davao Oriental on Nov 5- 8, 2022.
The following are the awards received by the CSUCC delegates : Charcoal Rendering, Kent Mark Montañez got the 1st runner-up and his coach is Mr. Leonard John V. Carrillo; On-the-spot Poster Making, Kent Melvin B. Abenion won the 4th runner-up his coach is Mr.Robert John D. Gipal; In-Situ Painting, Clarence M. Dingding bagged the 2nd runner-up and his coach is Ms. Cheela Mae C. Castro; Artistic videography/ video editing, Rey Mar Zarate and Arlito R. Talisay Jr. received the 4th runner -up their coach is Mr. Ryan Chester Fong.
In the dance category, here are the following students who garnered awards namely: Hip hop (solo category), Riedge Pacifico emerged as champion his coach is Ms. Prosfe June D. Yee; Hip hop (duo category), Klint Bryan Habahab and Renz Mulig made it to the 3rd runner-up their coach is Prof. Maria Annie B. Mortola; Hiphop (Group Category), Renz Jayson T. Mulig ,Louie James A. Coco, Riedge S. Pacifico, Klint Bryan T. Habahab ,Ian O. Orlandez, Jojo Mangubat ,Solomon John Jufferson A. Aguilar emerged as Grand Champion their coaches are Ms. Prosfe June D. Yee and Prof. Joselyn T. Mahumot. The dancers are choreographed by Mr. Reniejun F. Salazar.
There were 28 SUC’s who participated this year’s MASTS. The CSUCC team was supervised by the CSU Campus Center for Culture and Arts headed by Prof. Maria Annie B. Mortola.
